Belleville Area EMS’s members come from all walks of life. Many of our members are new to EMS, while others have decades of experience. All members of Belleville Area EMS have access to a modern, comfortable station with recently renovated sleeping quarters, a day room, and a meeting room. A full kitchen, laundry, and internet access are available when at the station. Our ambulances are stocked with state-of-the-art equipment, and we operate under progressive EMS protocols, allowing our EMTs to provide an exceptional level of service to our community. Our department is staffed by a full-time Department Chief and Deputy Chief, a number of LTE Advanced EMTs and Paramedics, and a dedicated group of volunteer EMTs. We accept applications for employee team members throughout the year. Advanced EMTs and Paramedics with at least one year of EMS experience are encouraged to apply for limited-term (LTE) positions.
